Business Plan & Proposal Review

Know what your draft still needs before you submit it. WBI helps owners of service and technical businesses identify unsupported assumptions, unclear economics and missing next steps through a founder-led review of an existing business plan or proposal.

What your review includes

One existing draft, up to 20 pages or 8,000 words, whichever comes first. Receive an annotated document, a prioritized assessment and a 45-minute review conversation. Rewriting, new research and financial-model construction are separately scoped. Send your business type, intended reader and deadline through Contact to discuss fit, fee and availability.

ILLUSTRATIVE REVIEW — FICTIONAL FIGURES, NOT CLIENT RESULTS. A draft calls 20 jobs at $300 “$6,000 profit.” That is revenue. If each job needs four hours, valuing 80 hours at $50 and allowing 3% payment fees leaves $1,820 before materials, travel, marketing, overhead and tax. Our review flags the missing costs, asks for measured job time and separates a sales target from evidence of demand. The next revision must show what the business can actually deliver and retain.

HOW WBI SUPPORTS THE WORK

Practical services for the work in front of you.

Services Built Around the Work in Front of You.

Select a service to explore the detailed guide below. Services can stand alone or be combined around the work you need to accomplish.

Important scope boundaries

WBI does not provide legal or tax advice, does not guarantee SBA financing, and does not guarantee grant awards. Where specialized or licensed advice is required, WBI will identify that dependency.

Services in Detail

Business Planning: Turn an idea or an existing operation into a usable plan. We examine the business model, customer needs, assumptions, resources, and milestones to define what must happen next.

Strategic Planning: Decide where to focus and what to leave behind. We compare options, clarify tradeoffs, establish priorities, and connect direction to an achievable sequence of work.

Operational Improvement: Find where effort fails to produce the intended result. We trace workflows, responsibilities, information, and handoffs to identify recurring friction and practical improvements.

Executive Support: Bring structure to decisions that cannot wait for perfect information. Support can include research synthesis, decision briefs, meeting preparation, and clearer communication of priorities.

Business Structure & Setup: Translate a business concept into an operating structure. We clarify roles, workflows, documentation, and launch dependencies, with legal and tax matters referred to qualified professionals.

SBA Loan Packaging Support: Prepare a coherent package for lender review. We organize the business narrative, plan, client-supplied financial inputs, and supporting documentation. Lending decisions remain with the lender.

Grant & Proposal Writing: Make the case for a defined project with clear objectives, a credible work plan, and supporting evidence. We organize requirements, develop the narrative, and align materials with the opportunity. Awards are not guaranteed.

Technical Consulting & Diagnostics: Understand the condition before selecting the remedy. We organize symptoms, evidence, system relationships, and testable questions into findings and practical next steps within the agreed technical scope.

Technical Writing: Make complex work understandable and repeatable. Support can include procedures, guides, technical explanations, and reference materials shaped around the people who will use them.

Technical Training: Connect understanding to execution. We define learning objectives, structure practical instruction, and develop materials that support consistent application on the job.

English-Language & Communication Services: Build communication around real professional situations. Focus may include workplace English, written clarity, presentations, comprehension, and communication across technical and business audiences.
